Nuwejaars Wetlands Wildlife Guided Tours

Our Nuwejaars Wetlands Wildlife Guided Tours are OPEN again. Close to Africa’s southernmost tip, this is the ONLY tour in the Overberg to provide wildlife experiences with big game like Buffalo and Hippo.

Join our Sunset Wildlife Guided Tour – and experience this rewilding conservation landscape where nature is showing off how she can recover with a helping hand.

We meet at the Black Oystercatcher Wine Farm at 5pm for a 2-3-hour tour into the Nuwejaars wetlands. The tour is led by an experienced guide in our game-viewing vehicle. You not only see big game that occurred here two centuries ago, but this is also a birder’s paradise.

For photographers, there are wonderful views of the lake where we enjoy a glass of cool-climate wine.
