ESKOM POWER OUTAGE UPDATE

Cape Agulhas Municipality would like to inform residents that the electricity supply situation remains unchanged from last night.
The following areas remain without power:
* Struisbaai
* L’Agulhas
* Suiderstrand
* Elim farming areas
* Protem farming areas
* Surrounding affected farms
Eskom has confirmed that replacement poles are currently on their way from Brackenfell to the affected areas.
Repair work will continue once all required equipment is on site and conditions are safe for teams to proceed.
At this stage, Eskom has not provided an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR).
We thank residents for their continued patience and understanding. Further updates will be communicated as soon as more information becomes available.

Kaap Agulhas Munisipaliteit wil inwoners in kennis stel dat die elektrisiteitsituasie onveranderd is sedert gisteraand.
Die volgende gebiede is steeds sonder krag:
* Struisbaai
* L’Agulhas
* Suiderstrand
* Elim-plasegebiede
* Protem-plasegebiede
* Omliggende geaffekteerde plase
Eskom het bevestig dat vervangingspale tans vanaf Brackenfell onderweg is na die geaffekteerde gebiede.
Herstelwerk sal voortgaan sodra al die nodige toerusting op die terrein is en toestande veilig genoeg is vir spanne om voort te gaan.
Op hierdie stadium het Eskom nog geen Geskatte Hersteltyd (GHT) verskaf nie.
Ons bedank inwoners vir hul volgehoue geduld en begrip. Verdere opdaterings sal gekommunikeer word sodra meer inligting beskikbaar raak.
