Western Cape Government | DEDAT | Digital Skills Programme Delivery

Call for Proposals: Graduate Adaptation Into Tech Talent Programme

Are you ready to help unlock the next generation of tech talent to grow the economy of the Western Cape?

The Department of Economic Development and Tourism (DEDAT) is calling on experienced training intermediary organisations to build new pathways into the digital economy. We are looking for bold, innovative approaches that can turn unemployed graduates from non-technology fields into skilled, job-ready tech professionals.

South Africa’s digital economy is growing fast, but there are too many capable, unemployed non-ICT graduates who are being left behind. This is your opportunity to be part of the solution.

Through this initiative, we aim to:

  • Pilot new and innovative training models that open doors into tech careers
  • Identify what works best at scale in an efficient and sustainable way
  • Grow a stronger and more inclusive pipeline of digital talent in the Western Cape

Together, we can accelerate access to opportunity, strengthen the talent pool, and support economic growth and investment in the region.

Step forward and be part of the change.
