The Cape Agulhas Classic Mountain Bike Race on December 29, 2024, was an unforgettable experience, and we at Discover Cape Agulhas with Chas Everitt Cape Agulhas were thrilled to be part of the excitement!

Stationed at Waterstand 4, the final water station on the route, we had the privilege of supporting 233 riders as they powered through the last stretch of their journey. It was inspiring to see the determination on their faces as they neared the finish line.

We cheered, we hydrated, and we celebrated each rider’s incredible effort, making the last push toward the finish line a memorable one. The energy was electric, with spectators and riders coming together to share the spirit of the event.

Being part of this iconic race, set against the stunning backdrop of Cape Agulhas, reminded us why we love this community and region so much. The resilience and camaraderie of the riders embodied the essence of the event—and of Cape Agulhas itself.
