ESKOM POWER OUTAGE UPDATE – DE HOOP

Unfortunately, there has been no significant change regarding the electricity outage affecting the De Hoop area.

The Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) remains unknown due to the severity of the storm damage sustained to Eskom’s Electrical Distribution Network.

Cape Agulhas Municipality continues to assist Eskom where possible, however the repair work and restoration of electricity supply remain Eskom’s responsibility.

We understand the frustration and impact this prolonged outage is having on affected residents and businesses and sincerely thank all those affected for their continued patience and understanding.

Further updates will be communicated as soon as more information becomes available.

ESKOM KRAGONDERBREKING OPDATERING – DE HOOP

Ongelukkig is daar geen noemenswaardige verandering rakende die kragonderbreking wat die De Hoop-gebied affekteer nie.

Die Geskatte Hersteltyd (GHT) bly onbekend weens die omvang van die stormskade aan Eskom se Elektrisiteitsverspreidingsnetwerk.

Kaap Agulhas Munisipaliteit gaan voort om Eskom by te staan waar moontlik, maar die herstelwerk en herstel van elektrisiteit bly Eskom se verantwoordelikheid.

Ons verstaan die frustrasie en impak wat hierdie langdurige onderbreking op inwoners en besighede het en bedank alle geaffekteerde inwoners opreg vir hul volgehoue geduld en begrip.

Verdere opdaterings sal gekommunikeer word sodra meer inligting beskikbaar raak.
