Description
Explore this 5.5-km loop trail near Cape Agulhas NU, Western Cape. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 14 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, hiking, and running, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are December through December.
Great hiking trail to do early morning. The sunrise is beautiful. The start is pretty flat and easy. As you cross over the dirt road to head back, it is a bit of a climb to the top of the mountain, but not for long. The view from the top, is so worth the climb. Navigation along the route can be challenging as the trails are not well-signed, having the map downloaded ahead of time can help keep you on track.
