ESKOM POWER OUTAGE UPDATE

Cape Agulhas Municipality is aware that large parts of the municipal area remain without electricity supply and understands the frustration and inconvenience residents are currently experiencing.

At this stage, Eskom has not provided an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR), and unfortunately we cannot confirm whether electricity supply will be restored today.

According to Eskom, repair work can only continue when weather conditions permit teams to safely access and work on the affected infrastructure.

Please be assured that the Municipality remains in continuous contact with Eskom and any confirmed updates will be communicated to residents as soon as information becomes available.

We thank all residents for their patience, understanding and cooperation during these difficult conditions.

ESKOM KRAGONDERBREKING OPDATERING

Kaap Agulhas Munisipaliteit is bewus daarvan dat groot dele van die munisipale gebied steeds sonder elektrisiteit is en verstaan die frustrasie en ongerief wat inwoners tans ervaar.

Op hierdie stadium het Eskom nog geen Geskatte Hersteltyd (GHT) verskaf nie, en ongelukkig kan ons nie bevestig of die kragtoevoer vandag herstel sal word nie.

Volgens Eskom kan herstelwerk slegs voortgaan wanneer weerstoestande dit toelaat dat spanne veilig toegang tot die geaffekteerde infrastruktuur verkry en daaraan werk.

Wees asseblief verseker dat die Munisipaliteit voortdurend met Eskom in verbinding bly en dat enige bevestigde opdaterings onmiddellik aan inwoners gekommunikeer sal word sodra meer inligting beskikbaar raak.
