Learn your Fynbos Birds with Dr Alan Lee
Whether you’re new to birding or already have a pair of binoculars close at hand, this weekend will help you sharpen your identification skills while exploring the rich birdlife of the Overberg.
You’ll learn about South Africa’s citizen science programmes, including SABAP2 and Coordinated Avifaunal Roadcounts, discover how to use the BirdLasser app, and (weather permitting) enjoy a hands-on bird-ringing session to learn how and why birds are monitored.
